Worker Safety Guidelines

Worker Safety Guidelines

Working through StaffCastle is direct: you and the employer deal with each other, and they pay you straight. I’ve hired Filipino virtual assistants for years — every rule below comes from a scam I’ve actually seen attempted. Read it once; it can save you a month’s pay.

1. You never pay to work.

Any “employer” who asks you to spend your own money, buy products, cash checks, move funds, or open accounts or stores in your name is running a scam. Real employers pay you — never the reverse. Stop replying and report it to me through the Contact page, screenshot included.

2. Ask new employers for weekly pay.

Small, frequent payments protect you far better than one big promise at the end of the month.

3. Your account is yours alone.

Never let anyone else use it, never run a profile that isn’t you, never invent experience. Accounts that do get removed permanently — fake profiles poison trust for every honest virtual assistant here.

4. Interviews happen on video, not on mystery websites.

Be suspicious of anyone who makes you “register” somewhere else as a condition of interviewing — and never send passport photos or other sensitive documents to someone who just messaged you. Your StaffCastle verification is the only ID check you’ll ever need, and employers never see those files.

5. Keep receipts.

Screenshot conversations and agreements. If something goes wrong, evidence turns “he said, she said” into a case.

Something feel off? Report it through the Contact page — I read every report myself.
