Profile Summary

Hi! I’m Mona, and for the past 15 years, I’ve poured my heart into teaching English right now, I’m a Junior High School Coordinator, a role that came from years of showing up, growing, and taking on more responsibility along the way. I spent 3 years as co-adviser of our school newspaper and as a proofreader, which taught me to really slow down and notice the small things a misplaced comma, an awkward sentence, a typo hiding in plain sight. On the side, I’ve also been helping manage social media, bookings, and client communication for a travel agency, creating content, coordinating with suppliers, and putting together itineraries for clients. It’s been a small taste of the VA and SMM world, and honestly, it’s made me want to dive in fully.

I’m still growing in this space, but I’ve picked up real skills along the way creating and posting social media content on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, basic video editing, designing cover photos, translating between English and Filipino, and proofreading with a sharp eye. I genuinely enjoy this kind of work the mix of creativity and organization suits me well.

If you work with me, here’s what you can expect: I show up, and I show up on time. I take instructions seriously and do my best to follow them exactly, but I also ask when I’m unsure rather than guess. Years of managing a classroom and school responsibilities have made me patient, organized, and steady under pressure. I care about doing things right, not just fast and I’m always ready to learn something new if it means growing in this field. This is a new chapter for me, and I’m bringing everything I’ve got into it.
